Friends of the Collins House

The Friends of the Collins House was formed as a charitable 501(c)(3) corporation with the purpose of preserving and restoring the historic Collins House of Bloomfield, New Jersey.

The house and surrounding property are owned by the Township of Bloomfield.  The Friends of the Collins House is working in partnership with the township to protect and eventually restore the house to a useful purpose in the community while preserving its historic characteristics.

The Collins House is eligible for the State and National Registers of Historic Places and is in the process of being nominated to be listed on the Registers.
